It's a new month, and the kids in our home are all officially out of school. The pressure is on to spend as much time as possible with them while they are home for summer break. We're hoping to do some new things, and will also be doing the things we do every summer.
I'm looking forward to a trip to Ohio to see my bestest of friends, Angie, and her family, hiking and camping. My toddler is excited to get to go boating and fishing, and to visit the Indianapolis Zoo, and the Children's Museum. My oldest is just looking forward to having more gaming time. Our middle son is looking forward to visiting the Incredible Pizza Company, and doing lots of swimming.Our daughter is looking forward to sleeping in and sleepovers.
We try to cram in lots of fun filled activities, and take advantage of free local events. As a family of 6 a big trip to Florida has never been in the budget, although I hope in the coming years we can make that happen once our youngest is in school full time.
It seems like such a short time, just 9 weeks, until school starts back up. Most of my blogs for the next 2 months will likely just be recapsd and photos of the fun times we have. Of course, I am sure there will be some other things blog worthy in the mix.
Have a great summer, and enjoy the kids while you can. Come August you'll be ready t kick them out the door to the bus stop! Haha!
